Cracked Quartz belongs to the quartz mineral family and is composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO₂). Natural quartz deposits are found throughout the world, with major sources including Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, India, and the Himalayan region. Crackle quartz is created by carefully treating natural quartz to produce its signature internal fracture pattern, making every stone visually unique.

Because crackle quartz contains internal fractures, however, it should be treated more gently than untreated clear quartz and protected from hard impacts and sudden temperature changes.

We do not repair or re-string jewelry from other brands.
